Beautiful Bastide of Provence, in front of vineyard, in the Nature of Provence. Departure point of bike rides or walks towards the Bessillon, or the EuroVelo Tour 4, 4km from the center of the village.
Beautiful stone house facing south, overlooking the vines, no vis-à-vis. It is a Paradise where to relax during your holiday. Sunrise, sunset and starry nights of Provence, are some pictures that you will never forget. The surrounding are charming for jogging, walking, riding horses and bikes.
Description of the Bastide : 120m2
On the ground floor :
- Fully equipped kitchen: dishwasher, fridge-freezer, kettle, coffee maker, microwave. From the kitchen, an access to the terrace sheltered, with its large table and chairs and plancha
- Living room: with its table and chairs, the area for the Fireplace and sofa, TV and DVD player, WIFI, access to the large south facing terrace with its shady garden living
- Bedroom 1: Large double bed, French doors to private terrace to the west,
- Bathroom with shower and WC
- Laundry : washing-machine and a freezer
On the 2nd floor :
- Bedroom 2: double bed 160 x 200 equipped with mobil AC.
- Bathroom with WC
- Bedroom 3: 2 single beds 90 x 200, double or twin position according to your request, with mobil AC
The large garden is an invitation to play with his bowling
Pool : secured by barriers
- Size swimming pool : 10m x 5m, deep from 1m to 2,5m
- Nice round table and chairs under a beautiful oak
The Annex can be used only during the high season (between june till september included). It's a charming little house, with a large bedroom (double bed 160×200), the shower room, its separated wc, and another double bedroom (2 single beds 90 x200) - forbidden for only children under 12 years old. 2 terraces.
Carefull : from the annex, direct accès to the pool area.
Shelter for 2 cars and parking under the pine trees
Extra charges :
End of stay cleaning is compulsory, a mid-stay cleaning can be provide with an extra charge.
The house linen is included in the Terravana booking (2 bath & hand towels, bedlinen and kitchen clothes), Pool towel on option

We booked this villa at the last minute and as there were just the two of us, we only had access to the main house. The house is very pretty and well equipped. It is also comfortable. The only down side was the necessity to refurbish the upstairs bedsee more
We booked this villa at the last minute and as there were just the two of us, we only had access to the main house. The house is very pretty and well equipped. It is also comfortable. The only down side was the necessity to refurbish the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom which were perfectly adequate and functional but extremely basic. The beds were very comfortable. The house is situated in a plot that is beyond perfection. The gardens are immaculate and the view is unobstructed and not overlooked by anyone. Peace and quiet are the main attraction here. It’s easy to find, and only 4 minutes into Cotignac by car. It is possible to walkcycle if you are fit but it is quite some hill to go up and down. The house itself is located on a level plot with no hills so it’s perfect for anyone with mobility issues plus there is the main bedroom and shower room on the ground floor. As I said, I didn’t have access to the annexe but from the website, it looks amazing and I’d definitely rent that with the villa next time. From outside the annexe looks delightful and is located next to the pool. The pool is beautiful. It is securely gated but looks like it’s part of the whole gardenscape rather than being isolated with security fencing. This is because it has been thoughtfully designed with beautiful iron gates rather than ugly fencing. It is just stunning and gets the sun most of the day. There is a lovely little spot to sit whilst the sun goes down too which overlooks the vineyard beyond.

I think if the owners could just upgrade the upstairs it would be incredible. I realise that it costs lots of money but perhaps a cheap split would be to decorate with prettier furniture and lamps it would be much nicer. The stairs are a bit of a nigsee more

The stairs are a bit of a nightmare to navigate, but I’d forgive that if the rooms upstairs were just made prettier and more welcoming. The only other thing was that the sink in the kitchen got blocked often. I was tempted to use product to clear it but was not sure if it was ok to do that with having septic tank. Other than that it’s perfect.

For those who really enjoy cooking at home, the pots and pans might be considered sub par.
